 I've been known to cut up my old paintings and give the parts I like a new life. This piece includes "scraps" from 5 different oil paintings. The girl's face, her hair, both hands, and her sleeve are all stitched to this canvas. My process was very intuitive and involved making decisions that were more visual than logical.
