Most of my paintings are wordless stories. Sometimes I set out to tell the story; other times, I paint intuitively, letting the story reveal itself to me. This piece is the latter. My decisions were based on what looked and felt right. I see a journey, a guardian, a voyage. I feel peace and comfort. I believe viewers bring a part of themselves to tell their own stories.
