Bio

Jennifer has exhibited her work in several Colorado galleries and other public venues. Her paintings can be found in private collections around the world. 


In 2001, although still an emerging artist, she was selected to illustrate a children’s book for the Butterfly Pavilion. It is titled, Morpha, A Rainforest Story, written by Michael Tennyson and published by Colorado Mountain Club Press. Jennifer illustrated her second children’s book, Jesus From A to Z, written by Kevin Graham and published by Windom Publishing Co. in 2009. This book won nine national awards.


To date, Jennifer's work has been published and/or featured on the cover and inside more than a dozen books, magazines, articles, and even a drink menu in Poland. Her most recent publication can be found on the front cover of a novel by Simona Baldelli, Ill pozzo delle bambole, an Italian novel, published in 2023. 


Jennifer has no formal art training. Her education includes a Bachelor of Arts degree in elementary education and special education from the University of Northern Colorado and a Master’s degree in counseling psychology from the University of Colorado at Denver. She recently retired, after 30 years of service, from Aurora Public Schools.  Jennifer currently resides in Aurora, CO, with her husband.
