I painted this after an amazing trip to Paris. I was fortunate to visit a Marc Chagall exhibition at the Musée du Luxembourg. His whimsical style was a strong influence on this piece.  I found the French women to be a perfect combination of stylish and edgy. The entire city felt romantic.
